Of course nothing is really that easy, when you come down to it -- a direct flight from Heathrow to Athens, for example. Or, I soon find out, a quick hour's flight to Frankfurt. We wait to board for an extra hour while the A-Team at BA works out a slight snag involving the logistics of getting a wheelchair-bound passenger off the arriving flight, followed by an additional spot of bother with some paperwork, but that's soon sorted out and after a short 20-minute wait in the plane for the weather to clear ( a thundershower has swept Heathrow) we are airborne and on our way.
