The booking for Allure took place while we were trying to book the Solstice 2010. We knew the phones at Atlantis were constantly busy - but we still figured it would never sell out.
When announcements came out that it was almost sold out - we balked at the exaggeration. Clever marketing - tell gay men they might miss out on THE place to be and they'll book due to fear.
We were above this - we saw right through it.
But the email from Rich on April 23 made it official - it was SOLD OUT.
But there's always a wait list. No worries.
WRONG! It got worse and worse (and worse!).
Eventually the wait list was closed - we were not on it
Eventually payments came due - everyone paid and no one canceled
Eventually it became clear - we were NOT going to be on this cruise
No way!
