We survived the Halloween celebrations, at school and at home. The games in our classrooms were a lot of fun, and our costumes thoroughly freaked out our students. Looking at the pictures now, I am wondering what I was thinking???? I am reminded why wearing face paint is so extremely annoying, too. The kids also enjoyed coming by our house to trick-or-treat, especially the Chinese students. They probably think Halloween is great: free candy and crazy costumes, why not?

This morning we had a special treat - game 3 of the World Series. Our coworkers have satellite and ESPN world was broadcasting the game so we went over there to watch...at 7 am. I was persuaded to go by the offer of homemade waffles, and so I made a batch of smoothies in our new blender to take over as well. It was worth getting up early on my day off. Now, Peter is watching the Ducks game via skype (thank you Steve and Patti). Although, we have figured out lately how to download many favorite shows and sporting events. Last night we watched 2 episodes of Modern Family.

Hope you all enjoy your Halloween, and thanks for all of the great notes on our last blog! It is so nice to hear from you all and it means a lot to us!!!!!

How cute all the kids were, it must have been a fun day. The activities looked like they went well, the mummies were great!

Might as well get "How I Met Your Mother" while you're at it. It's one of the best shows out there!!!
