More on Budapest later but just want to say that I went to House of Horror in Budapest about the Hungarian secret police.  After seeing footages (again) of what was done during WWII by the Nazi (which the secret police helped), it all became clear to me... [silence]

Budapest is huge! Got in on Friday afternoon and did a biking tour to get a better sense of the city. And man, it is huge... Oh I said that already!  The architecture is quite amazing - many of the buildings are boarded up and yet to be renovated - most are owned by private investors who are waiting for property value to go up - guess capitalism is alive and well in Hungary!  They even turn old communism propaganda into a money making venture - a la Statue Park, which is like a retirement village of old communist statues. And like any good theme park, they charge $$$!
The weather finally turned bad - pretty good considering the amazing weather so far.  But still managed to see many of the sights. Not to mention it's the perfect weather for thermal baths!  Pretty amazing experience - highly recommended if you're ever in Budapest.
