The water may be cold, the coast may be foggy, but Short Sands beach 10 miles south of Seaside is beautiful, and the waves and the people are friendly.

Akiko and I went down for the weekend to celebrate my birthday. If you're going to the Oregon Coast in August, bring your fleece jacket! :)
