Off we go again, this time a one hour flight to Ho Chi Minh City - formerly Saigon - a huge place with a population of ten million.
Checked in, quick lunch and then out and about in a cyclo (an individual bicycle rickshaw), to explore some of the city.
Glad we weren't doing the cycling, as the roads were madness and I think all ten million were out on their mopeds! Once again a good way to get around and see things.
One place we did stop and spend some time was the War Remnants Museum. It featured a lot of information and photographs (some harrowing) of the 1965 - 1973 Vietnam War, which was of particular interest as we can both remember TV coverage of the conflict when we were young - very very very young!
Ho Chi Minh comes across more cosmopolitan than the other places we have visited in Vietnam and a mix of old and new, East and West.
