Left Kuranda after surviving our night in what felt like the deepest jungle. Decided to go further inland to experience an area known as the Atherton Tablelands, which is a mixture of landscapes from tropical, to craggy hills, to lakes, to rivers, to gorges, to plantations and then back to tropical, we ended up for the night on the coast at Mission Beach.
