It all happened so fast - Pete thinks he caught his paddle on a rock and this caused him to just flip out head first. When he came up Dylan had already positioned himself ready to pull Pete back in (Dylan is a really nice Australian we have been travelling with).
I'm just grateful it was Dylan who was sat next to Pete, I'm not so sure any of us females would have had the same result.......Thank-you Dylan!
Anyway we both thought it was great fun and might even go for it again in New Zealand!
