Where I stayed
Saturday 1 November
Manukau S 37° 00.5' E 174° 53.5'
After breakfast "out" Keith was visited by a cousin, who took a picture to prove to Chris Cole that we had in fact met, and I moved on at about 10:30.
The road immediately crossed the Thames river, which was so named by Capt Cook because of its resemblance to the Thames in London - and it did indeed look very like the photo I took all those weeks ago in Tilbury. (The NZ Thames has a traffic-light controlled one-way bridge, so I couldn't stop for a photo of the wavy bit.)
Then by the main roads to Manukau, where I did some external van cleaning and am now about to attempt packing my stuff before cleaning the inside.
