The first day it's been "cold" since we left Tilbury. The crew probably think I'm eccentric as I walk round and round the deck, but today they were wearing overalls plus jackets, helmets and gloves as I went past in shorts and T-shirt, so they now think I'm mad. The T-shirt shrinking didn't help, either.
Now expect to get to the pilot station for Melbourne at 22:00 so we'll likely miss seeing much of the trip up-river. However, we'll anchor somewhere and not berth until after lunch tomorrow. Now expect to be a bit late getting to Napier (having emailed the hotel from Sydney to say I'd be early!)
