One of the things you can do in BA is visit the cemetary where Evita and other famous, rich and important people are lad to rest...

I was not sure what to expect really but had a picture in my mind of a graveyard in field with a church there maybe.. I couldnīt have been more wrong.

Ash and I took a taxi there (Tom was ill again from night before) and we arrived at a massive place in the middle of the city.. there was a huge white wall around the cemetary with an entrance through some white arches. It was free to get in!

Once inside there were rows and rows of tombs, statues and monuments. Some of them looked like small churches and had the most amazing architecture. Inside some you can see the coffins that lay there. Most had the name of the person with their family too. It was strange really to see it like this. Some were really old and the coffins were falling to bits so you could see inside. Wouldnt like to go there at night.

The main reason to visit for tourists was to see Evitas Grave. We were expecting  massive impressive one but were surprised to find a smallish tomb with no statues. It did however have lots of plaques onthe walls and there were lots of flowers that people had brought!
