More bus tripping today with the first stop being the circular inca gardens at Moray where we ran into our amercan friends, the ´Spirits of the Earth´ meditating in the centre of the gardens. We made our own statement with a gant starfish at the bottom. Next we headed to the salt pans to view the process (dating from inca times) of evaporating water to make salt. We met little Rosa who was 8 years old working in her family´s pans. After this (dodging donkeys and mountainbikers) we made it to the valley floor before visiting the cliff dwellers, seeing how they live, learning that one of the women shared her birthday with Alice, and delivering some food and supplies to them. Dinner was Alice´s birthday celebration, complete with pan flute orchestra. Quite a few CDs were bought to remember the evening.
