A sleep in HOORAY didn't wake up till after 8.30am, then lovely leisurely brekkie served to us, could get used to this!
How do they get a sea day when it only took a nights sailing to get to Ensenada in the first place? ...they park the boat up in the middle of the ocean....really seems to go against the laws of all thats normal...as Stephen said if your stopped in the ocean you should have a fishing rod in your hand.
Was a nice relaxing day really, went to a couple of the big event sales they held in the shops - was fun being in the middle of the bun fight and positioning yourself so you didn't miss out, all part of the experience. A little bit of a sit in the trying to be sunny sunshine - bit disappointing as the sun is not really out today.
By lunch time the boat is moving but only just, its better when it moves you get less rocking, I had to take an anti nausea pill as had been starting to feel a bit seedy, not incapacitating as it can get on the ferry but just off colour and a bit headachy.
Garry did well winning the first round of the blackjack tournament, unfortunately he couldn't replicate that form in the final so no big winnings to come home with.
Really didn't do a lot just a nice slow paced day - good to unwind after nearly 6 weeks of being on the move and doing as much as possible in a relatively short space of time.
Had to sort out our stuff and have our suitcase outside the door before 11pm so had to sort out clothes for the next day once done we had a nice early night, good thing 2 as we had to be up and out of our room 8.30am.
Getting through customs was a bit of a nightmare extremely slow officials who seemed to have no interest in getting people through with any sort of speed.
Once finished we decided to go have a look at the Queen Mary, the others did a tour but as it was down the bowels of the boat and in the dark I decided not for me so I got a cuppa and sat out on the deck in the sunshine.
The afternoon was spent sorting the suitcases, full on job it was too!
Went for dinner at a Greek Restaurant where the waiter twisted Stephen and Garry's very weak arms into doing ouzo shots and a bottle of wine, managed to drag them home before it all got 2 messy, put my drunkard to bed did a catch up on another days blog and went to sleep even with the drunken snoring in my ear.
