This morning we went to the Boeing Factory Tour and the Future of Aviation Centre as it was close to where we stayed the night and on the way to where we are going.
Was amazing, the building where they build the planes is the biggest by volume in the world and its massive, it had lots of partially built and fully built jet liners in it.....Ben the engineer would have been in engineer heaven! Was awesome to see how really big some of those planes actually are you really don't get the same feel for it when they are lined up outside the airport as you do when in a building standing above one
Wandered around the future of flying centre afterwards was ok but not overly exciting, if you were a plane nut would have really been your thing.
Back in the car and we stopped for lunch at a busy little cafe with a nautical theme (who knows why it had a nautical theme) nice food tho and an enjoyable lunch.
Drove on toward the middle of Washington scenery is lovely different than what we have seen so far more farmland with rolling hills and plains and mountain backdrops. Stopped for the night at a little town called Yakama which is on an Indian Reservation, we are pretty sure we are in the rough part of town but hotel is fine so other than the fact the school group of teenagers are going to keep us up all night I am sure it will be fine.
Dinner at an Outback Steakhouse, Garry's beer came with a slice of orange attached which was pretty funny and very unaustralian.
Hopefully these damned kids will shut up sometime soon so the old people can sleep. No such luck...Stephen eventually rang the front desk to complain about the noise at 3.30am .....bloody teenagers!
