Had enough of Venice so packed up and headed north. Took the train to Verona, transfered to another Trenitalia train to the Austrian border and finally transfered again to an Austrian train. Took a little over 6 hrs.(4 of actual riding). Got to Innsbruck at about 6:00. Stopped at the tourist info and picked up a hotel manual for the city. Spent about an hour in the pub reading and deciding where to go. Picked a middle of the pack hotel and checked in. Went for a walk around the neighborhood and found the coffee shops and pubs. Stopped long enough to watch the world cup game and have some supper. $18.00 for food and booze...cheap. Back to the hotel and tried to get the internet to work but couldn't, typical. Bedtime.

Hey Perry. I've been to the same area you guys are in now. I really liked the scenery there and found some tasty beers to keep myself refreshed. Good times! Hope you enjoy this leg of your journey. Have fun buddy.
