Hotel Gaudi and an apartment on the beach
Wow!!, what a week!! Nice to be where it's warm. We're hittin' all the sidewalk 'cafes' shopping our way up the street. Only 4 days in Barcelona, not much time. Found a Beachfront apartment for $50E a night. cheap. We went to the Segrata Famillia (church) and cruised up and down 'La Rambla' street. We finally went to a beach and just laid around for awhile. I'm starting to feel road fatigue and getting travel wise at the same time. Emptied out my suitcase, now it's only half full. Tried to go to the F1 race held here this weekend, but ran into just too many obstacles to make it worth the effort. (tickets are 2/$900.00 CAN) and transportation to and from the track was unbelievably inadequate. So we went to the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Barcelona and watched it on the big screen tv instead...and only spent $100.00,lol. Now we're headed to Amsterdam.
