Woke up and did a short hike around Canyonlands, to the Needles District, was only a couple of mile, some good scenery all impressive and nothing like we have in England that ive witnessed thus far.
We headed to Moab in Utah arrived around midday and setup camp, swimming pool at the campground, hot weather …rude not to really. So had a bit of a soak and a tan. We then went on a hummer tour around 4 …traversing gradients of up to approx. 70 degrees. The driver, josh, tried to tell us that it was his first day. I wasn't having any of it. Got some good pics out of the experience, and some good laughs. Instead of cooking tonight we went out for a meal to a local Brewery, cant say that I enjoyed their lager too much, but the food was immense. I had a jack daniels burger with onion rings, great portion, good value and tastey food!
Then had the pleasure of going to a local bar, had a pilsner which was pretty dirt to be honest, but still a beers a beer, obviously too fussy – or Moab just doesn’t do good lager.
