Time to reacquaint myself with Prague. I play guide to some lost tourists its funny how after 6 or so years I can still remember a lot of the streets and where to go. I head to the main square and the old clock tower it still is beautiful. I am careful of pickpockets and keep my back to walls and buildings.

In the town square the Czech Army Orchestra is playing with a Tenor and Lady Soprano. The first song I hear is New York, New York, quite strange really. The drum majorettes perform it is a little bit kitshe but hey its post-communism. The next song is Celine Dion's My Heart will go on. Ohhh my it gets cornier and cornier. Some men in red suits then perform with their bayonets the Tenor and Soprano sing it is a pretty good performance if a bit cheesy but hey.

I then head over the Vlatava River on the bridge next to the St Charles Bridge. I take some photos from this distance as I will walk over it on the way back. I discover some cool little side streets and walk past the masses of tourist souvenir shops with quite overpriced things, I think I will wait for Cesky Krumlov before I purchase anything in the Czech Republic.

I head back to the Youth Hostel and see if anyone has joined me in my room. I feel a bit lonely in Prague. I think I got used to the company with Couchsurfing and there seems to be lots of tour groups, Contiki and Busabout who are all pretty much organised. I decide to do a night walking tour and look through the brochures.

I head back into town an hour later to get some dinner and go on the Ghost Tour. There are 4 separate groups and I choose the one with the lantern and a mid sized group, the group with only two seemed a bit unappealing but after it starts I wish I had gone with them as there are people from the Youth Hostel in that group. Our guide is a little bit foggy on the information and when asked what certain churches etc are does not know. The usual guide, her husband is away. It is an okay nite, a bit disappointing but then it got me out and I got to see some more of Prague than I had before.

It lasts abit over an hour and when I then do a bit of wandering around the streets before heading back to the Youth Hostel. There are 4 people in the room but they are asleep when I get in and I don't get to meet them.
