Well, we got back to Paihia, but I only stayed for two days, just to say my good byes and to pick up the rest of my stuff. I really found it hard; I had made some lovely friends there and had a great time. My aid parcel had arrived from my sister-in-law Jane and it had Chocolate in it, wonderful. The photos of the boys made me realize how long I had been away; they have grown so much.
I was waiting for my bus with all of my gear, Lucie one the women I worked with had come down to see me off, Julee was also there. I think Chops was a bit taken aback by the amount of stuff I had collected over a few months, but I had brought him a bag of sweets so he let me put in all on.
Jackie had kindly said that I could stay at here house while I was in Auckland, which was great. She came and picked me and my stuff up when I arrived back in the big smoke.
I have been in Auckland now for about a week and I am moving on again. It's been great having my own bedroom, eating home cooked food, being able to pop down the road and get anything I need and the cinema, but I want to get to the south island while it's still hot.
I leave tonight at 6pm and I am flying down to Wellington where I will stay for two nights and then I pick up my bus on Monday morning. We get the ferry over to the South Island.
I have heard some really good things about the south island, Scott, Esther and Dean are down there already all in deferent places, but hopefully I will be able to catch up with them at some point.
Oh well time to finish packing and get ready to leave will put some more entries on as soon as I can. Then there will be some dots on the bottom as well!
Take care everyone.
