The annual gala of my Engineering School in Tarbes. I had thought that coming back on that weekend would give extra incentive to my friends to come over and see me. Don't know what the real incentive was, but those who could be there were there.

The plan had been tried and tested, we sticked to the basics:
- Rent a guesthouse for 8 people
- Pack it with 20
- Eat and drink and be stupid for over a day
- Dress up formal
- Get to the gala
- Drink Champagne ONLY
- Smoke freshly imported Cuban cigars ONLY
- Meet up with old pals you haven't seen in ages
- Depending on the interlocutor, choose your line between an evasive "Oh well, I am unemployed, don't know what to do exactly" or an innocent "Oh, just came back from 18 months around the world. Yesterday"
- Get always more Champagne
- Dance and do stupid things till morning
- Somehow get back to the headquarters
- Feel that things have not changed
- Feel that I have not changed

YYeeeeeaaaaahhhhhhh man, Gala is so stupid, so drunky, so dancing, so champagne, so stupid again, so friendly, so headache, so good..................it cannot change :-)
