Small fishermen village, yes but in the guidebook, so very touristy, full of restaurants and cabanas... in summer the place gets packed with thousands of people. But it was off-season, and we were among the few tourists there, it was calm, a bright sunshiny day, slightly windy, perfectly cloudless.
We walked in the village, on the rocky shores, and then we made a larger walk to the north, into dunes and vegetation, reaching a beach and then coming back via the coastline. It was magnificent.
I was to find out that Piedad could not help being friend with all the dogs we met, and a white labrador followed us all the way.
We had lunch at a place called "El Viejo y el Mar", where we opted for the dish of the day: shark steak. My first shark, quite good, with a consistency similar to tuna.

une grosse pensée pour toi hier matin, en quittant Pau où j'avais passé la veille une audition pour un poste de maître de conférence, et en voyant Lourenties apparaître sur une carte de la région accrochée au mur (ben oui, forcément, dans un institut de géo...)
l'occasion donc de t'envoyer des pensées outre atlantique et te remercier de nous faire vivre ton voyage à distance! enjoy un max

Bon par contre, j'y crois meme pas que tu oses aller a Pau sans me prevenir, et que tu aies en plus l'outrecuidance de me le dire apres coup...
J'espere que t'as bien mangé au moins, hein?
