One important thing done: went to change my plane tickets, so I had to give it some thoughts before hand and try to foresee what I would be doing in the next 6 months. Here is the plan:

After going to Uruguay, I will go to Santiago and travel north for a couple of weeks, hoping to reach Bolivia by mid-June. A month there, another in Peru, and that should be... August. From there a little break:
Flight LP5531 Lima - Santiago
Two weeks in the lake district to go up volcano Villarica and hopefully do some serious skying
Flight LP5634 Santiago - Lima
Back to traveling, heading north to Ecuador mid-August for a month, including the Galapagos Islands
Then north to Colombia in mid-September, I don't know exactly how yet, I hope to find a cheap flight from Quito, but I have the option to get back to Lima and fly:
Flight LP582 Lima - Bogota
Somehow (shouldn't pose any major difficulty) I'll then get to Venezuela by mid-October.
By the end of November I should fly home:
Flight IB6702 Caracas - Madrid
Flight IB8766 Madrid - Toulouse

And at that point I will be less than 200km from home, and it should be the end of November, getting ready for the ski season... err, the job-search season I mean, of course!

That could be all, but... it is a round the world ticket, so it goes around the world, and oh! I started in Sydney! Soooo I have the option of visiting family and friends in London:
Flight BA309 Paris - London
And then the option of visiting my dad, maybe before Xmas, in Beijing:
Flight BA039 London - Beijing
And then I think I will try the Transsiberian under the snow, the cheapest option to get back to Moscow, and from there back home somehow.
I could also go back to summer to Sydney (Flight QF192 Beijing - Sydney), but it would be a bit far to get back home for Xmas

The complete itinerary change cost me 125usd, and I can do it again when I want for the same price.
I can change the dates of my flights for free (provided there are available seats, of course), and normally I can skip a flight if I don't want to use it.
