Jungle at night is creepy: there are many sounds, you know that there are loads of insects and spiders and other animals all around you, watching you with their many eyes, feeling you with their antennaes, smelling you, craving you...

We even found a big tarentula.... yek!

At some point I had a magic moment, where a band of bats were flying for several minutes within 2 meters around my head, making almost no sound but I could feel the violent air movements and struggled to kep my eyes open (not that I could see much anyway...) and I forgot to breathe.
