What I did
Classes I am taking
I'm taking alot of classes...Im only taking 4 for credit thought Intro
to Drumming (i decided that i like that class and it's something i could
take back-i plan on buying a drum now too) Psychology of Learning, and
Psychology of Personality, Moral Development (which is my FAVORITE
class) I love it-It will be challenging but i'm excited about it. Then i
am audititing/ sneaking into Family Relations and African Studies (just
to learn more about the culture). Okay your probably thinking what does
Family relations teach you about Ghanian culture, but it's so
interesting like for example the professor said point blank-that when
both the mother and father work the child is left at home to ROT, and i
was like waitt...and homosexual couples are VERY uncommon in Ghana-and
it is not tolorated at all. So just learning stuff like that gives me a
broader perspective. I gave the extras I bought to kids at the Mawuvio Outreach Programme where i am
volunteering ; They loved them
and you can find more info at www.mawuviosoutreachprogramme.org
It's incredible what this school is doing!!/ I want to talk to Renee
and Kwame more to see if there are any supplies that they need so i
could send you those as well
