Bonjour!!!

Oh my god its now a blog thrilogy for your Monday morning (we managed to acquire some cheapish internet access hence all the blog entries)

Clare and I are now in French Polynesia for our last week of sunshine before heading to LA LA!

We spent a couple of days in Tahiti where we just chilled by the beach as it was soooooooooo hot.  Our host was unbelievably French - drinking about 5 coffees and smoking about 10 cigarettes way before 10am!!!  It was like stepping off the plane in to France itself.  We didn't need to get our passports stamped (we are both gutted we are missing out on a  another stamp to add to the collection!) as we are members of the EU and saw a Carrefour as soon as we hit the main road!

We caught the ferry to another island Moorea yesterday and are staying in a rather swanky hotel (which is being put on the credit card and will be dealt with at some point in the future!)  Our hotel is that exclusive it even has its own dolphin and sea turtle rehabilitation centres!!!

Today we made the most of the hotels facilities. Firstly, we booked ourselves on a scuba dive which was UNBELIEVABLE!!!  Within 2 minutes of going below the surface Clare and I spotted two turtles feeding on some colourful coral whilst being circled by a group of five black tip reef sharks!!!  We were so stoked the dive master could have told us to go back to the surface then and we would have been happy to pay the fifty quid each for those few amazing moments!  We did carry on though for about 35 minutes cruzing along in the underwater world spotting all sorts of coral and fish.  Towards the end of the dive we saw a giant Moray Eel which was so weird we had to take a double look at it.

Back on dry land we spent some time checking out the hotel Dolphins and Turtles, swimming in the pool and finished the day with a spot of tennis.

We are off to Bora Bora tomorrow (Sunday for us) for our last couple of days in FP.  Bora Bora looks amazing in the brochures and we have heard good things about the island.  Lets hope it lives up to its reputation.

While we are here, Clare is practising her French - I am muttering a few words pigeon style!  Mangetout Marleen!!!

Aurevoir mes amis!!!!

P&C xx
