This morning we had a slow start. We then headed to Stinson beach. We opted for the scenic route and took the Fairfax Boulinas Rd entering the Golden Gate National recreation area. We drove over Mt Tamalpais, amazing scenery and exceptionally windy roads wasn't feeling too great on the drive sand was stressed every time Rich pulled over for us to take pictures, just seemed too close for comfort. When we got to Stinson we were met with signs saying the facility was closed due to the government shutdown but we found alternative parking and joined all the other people on the beach. No sign was stopping people enjoying the gorgeous weather. The kids had great fun playing at the waters edge and building sandcastle a while we looked through catalogues trying to work through ideas and thoughts of what type of kitchen and bathrooms we would like for when we get back to SA. I am finding this all way too stressful. We played a bit of touch rugby together as a family which was fun before heading back. A quick wander around the town (approx 6 shops) and then we drove on highway 1 stopping at a few view points, did a short walk to the cliffs edge but turned around when the next part of the path way straight down. Then back for dinner with the Hedlund's and a movie Epic, bed.
