We had the distinct opportunity to be interviewed by Tampa Bays 10's reporter David Leonard, who shot 3 hours of video, compressed into a 2 minute segment, showing how we have combined our globetrotting ways (64 countries) with our world fusion cooking style.
The segment was aired on Channel 10 on September 11, 2007 at 434PM -go to www.tampabays10.com/news/local/afternoon/article.aspx?storyi d=63069

What made the exposure even better was the fact that we were called the day before and asked whether we could bring in some of the dishes that we had created on the day of the shoot, so that the anchors Marty Matthews and Dave Wirth might try them, on air, while reporting on David Leonard's story.
What an offer and one we jumped on immediately.
We brought my home-made chutney (Mango Guava Apple), Jose Luis' home-made focaccia with black olives and his crusty European loaf. Followed by his Portobello mushroom tossed with curry, coconut milk, dried cranberries and granny smith apples. The finale was my Girl scout cookie, green creme de menthe Bread Pudding with vanilla rum sauce. For good measure we also poured a bottle of Artesa Vineyards Elements wine for the anchors.

Expecting a good response we never anticipated the incredibly, enthusiastic 2 1/2 minute live segment that was interspersed with ooohs and aaahs from both Marty and Dave. You know you have a good product when the anchors forget about the news or their next segment and continue eating, talking about the food and sipping the wine.
