Birthplace of Oskar Schindler, formerly called Zwittau, Moravia, Austria-Hungary.

There are only two free aires in the Czech Republic as far as we know and the other is at a restaurant. A bonus is that although the book says there is a small charge for electricity, it appears to be free.
A wet day following a night of heavy rain but when we got here it cleared enough for a stroll round the town. It seems an attractive town, the main feature being the undercover arcades formed by what we think of as Moorish style arches.
28/05/2013. A gray start to the day but it brightened up in the afternoon. Had a very nice lunch in town at a small restaurant, Restaurace Pod Kašnou, on the main street. Afterwards went round the town museum to see a fairly boring exhibition of washing machines, some pedestrian photos of general subjects and an Oskar Schindler exhibition which was a waste of time for us, it being mainly composed of photos all described and detailed in Czech. The advertising boards outside the museum offered its' wares in English so we felt somewhat deceived.

Hope you have avoided all the rain in Central Europe. The sun has started shining over here, at last
