. We then took a walk along the Arrow river for about 45 minutes. We saw a number of weddings having their pictures taken by the river. With the cool breeze and trees changing colours it felt like a fall day back home. We left around 3:30 pm and took a different route back to Queenstown. We stopped off at the Shotover river to see the world famous Shotover jet boat. It can travel in only 4 inches of water. We then continued along and stopped off to purchase some groceries for the next few days. We got back around 4:15 pm. I am not sure what we are doing for dinner but it is time for some beer and wine. It has been threatening rain all day long. It did start to rain around 6:00 pm just before we were going out for dinner. So instead of walking we drove into town. We went for Indian food tonight. It was delicious. When we got back Carter had a bath. He set a personal best today for the number of poos. He had 6 today! It must be all the new food he is starting to eat. Carter went to bed at about 8:30 pm. The rest of us watched some tv. I called it a day at 11:00 pm.
I woke up at 7:30 am this morning but I did not get out of bed until 8:15 am. Everyone was slow out of the gate this morning. We spoke to Jessica on Skype and Denise on FaceTime to try and get caught up on things. We all ate breakfast at different times. Carter went down at 10:30 am for a nap while the rest of us tried to get cleaned up. The plan for today is to visit Arrowtown which is an old gold mining town about 1/2 hour drive away. Burke and I may get our hair cut(we will see!). We may do some more shopping. We saw an Indian restaurant where we may have some dinner. It is windy and cool out today. We really don't have a whole lot of warm clothes with us, so we will have to out on as much as we can to keep warm today. As long as the rain stays away, we should be good. We stopped off at noon for a quick snack at McD's. we arrived in Arrowtown at 12:30 pm. We walked around the town for an hour. We stopped at the bakery to have our lunch around 2:00 pm which consisted of meat pies and sausage rolls
