It had to happen, Freda hit one branch too many and we lost a front window in the passenger cabin. The good news was that no-one was hurt. Marilyn did get a fright, as she was sitting right by the window. Thankfully, all she had to suffer was glass all over her.

After tidying up the glass we had a slower drive back to Neiva. I was hugely surprised when we were able to get a new laminated window cut and fitted in an hour.

All this excitement put us back a bit, but we still managed to arrive at San Agustin by about 7pm. Shame it was dark as the hotel we have taken over is a lovely place built out of bamboo, 'Casa Francois'.  The hotel was run by a French man, no surprise with that name. Great views over the valley and town and excellent food.

The morning was spent with a guide at the local archaeological site. A pleasant place in the jungle, with 3 major sites. Each of the sites had stone statues. These statues were buried next to tombs.

The afternoon was spent trying to find a restaurant, it's Mothers day in South America. Followed by relaxing in a hammock.
