It feels strange to be on our own again - its less fun slagging only one person! We drove the Great Ocean Road - it was overcast at the start but picked up just as we wanted to get some pictures of the 12 Apostles and London Bridge - we had to be sure it had fallen down.
We spent the night at a little campsite in Port Fairy and did the last 670kms to Waikerie to meet our Aussie mates Clint & Tammy. Clint was off shopping for a houseboat we were met by Tammy and her mate Lou.  It was great to see her again.  A tour of Waikerie was next which took all of a half an hour...
Then it was off to their friends houseboat for beer and some tubing for Paul (sorry no pics we forgot the camera). Not sure what speed the speedboat was doing while it was dragging Paul up and down the Murray River but he could barely walk after it!!
Clint showed up filthy a few hours later and the session began. Its great to see them again - we met a year ago on holidays in Africa.
Next day we borrowed Tammys dads speedboat and travelled 45kms up the Murray to Overland Corner, which is an old Irish style pub by the river in the middle of no-where. Tammy and Clint adopted a puppy (as you do) while we had a couple of drinks.
The rest of our trip to Waikerie involved Kangaroo spotting and camera shopping (as paul walked into the river with our camera in his pocket - God damn drink!).
