We then caught the metro to explore Tiber Island and the Trastevere area. Loads of narrow alleyways and small piazzas. We then headed up a big hill which had as a panoramic view of Rome. We covered several kms today and ventured away from the usual tourist spots.
We had dinner at The Little Table again. We feel we have Rome very well covered. Great city with loads to see. We enjoyed avoiding the main thoroughfares and exploring the back streets. Paul has called Rome his new favorite city.
