Had a fabbie breakfast. Very nice - delicious donuts! We then got ourselves organized and headed off to the colosseum. Very impressive - we paid a little extra to go on a tour and it was well worth it. We got some great shots. We had a general wander in the afternoon back to the hotel.

We did some Rome research this afternoon and then had a nice dinner at Ristorante l'Europeo which is very close to the hotel. Wandered up the the Piazza Del Repubblica. The traffic was super crazy and we took our lives into our own hands. Pedestrian crossings seem to be a mere suggestion! Oh these crazy European drivers. Headed back to the hotel for an early night.
