Where I stayed
Today was very, very cold! Only 5 degrees and a cold wind blowing. Brrrrrrrr!
We went to Union Square, SOHO and the East Village which was the site of our Rock Junket walking tour which was very cool although someone has stolen the Joey Ramone Place sign - again - Boo Hoo. We saw such sites as Joey Ramone, Iggy Pop and Madonna's former homes, the buildings featured on the Led Zeppelin Physical Graffiti cover, Manitoba's bar and the old CBGB's site plus much more.
We then headed down to SOHO and visited the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame Annex - quite good - we were the only people there - heaps of memorabilia, and a special Clash exhibit which made it worth while.
We got the subway home and had dinner at an Irish Pub called McQuaids - just down the road a bit - very nice and friendly.
Love Carolyn and Paul
