Where I stayed
Today we visited the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space museum on a decommissioned aircraft carrier. Very interesting and informative. There are exhibits and you get to explore the ship. They also have one of the British Airways Concords which was quite interesting also. It is very small inside.
We planned to visit the Museum of Natural History but the Dinosaur level was closed so we will go another day. Instead, we wandered around Central Park and saw Strawberry Fields, the ice skating rink, and about one hundred squirrels.
After that we went the to restaurant they use in Seinfeld as Monk's Cafe which is all the way up on 112th street.
It was warmer today but a bit drizzly and rainy. We were on and off the subway as we bought our weekly metro tickets - Paul saw an enormous rat on the platform!
Purchases today included a bargain print of the New York skyline and Brooklyn Bridge.
