Not much to say about Santiago. All the big cities are very similar. Day 1, we went to the city centre for a look around. We also did a free walking tour to take in all the main sights. Day 2, we walked around again but made it back to the hostel in time to watch the Ireland vs South Africa rugby match. Our hostel was in the Bellavista area where all the pubs and clubs are located. We went for a few drinks here by night. On the 3rd day, we took a 7 hour bus back across the Argentinian border to Mendoza. We are keeping our entry on Santiago short as although it was a nice city, we found that there was little to do here.
