Fue duro, sobre todo la subida, pero muy muy bonito.Nadie daba un duro por mi. Carlos, el guía ya me estaba subiendo a la mula, pero lo logré! Pasamos la primera noche con una familia del lugar, y la segunda en Cabanaconde, el pueblo más frío del mundo! celebrando el día de Reina de Holanda, en honor a Thomas!
Después de unos baños calentitos en Chivay, el viaje de vuelta viendo "Corazón Valiente" (Braveheart) se hizo más ameno. ¡¡¡Al llegar a Arequipa celebramos por primera vez el cumple de Patricia, que este año no se podrá quejar con tanta fiesta!!!!

Night bus to Arequipa, bingo included! Peru is full of surprises.We arrive early in the morning and after a small siesta we start searching for a tour to the Colca Canyon, the deepest in the world!Thomas, Jane and Attila join our group and we leave to Cabanaconde with Carlos, our guide, for the great adventure. We walked around 18km in two days, and went from 3200m to 2100m and the back up again!!!that was veeeeeery taugh!after a nice "fresh" swim at the Oasis nobody thought I could make it to the summit! but I did!Once back in Cabanaconde, the coldest town in the world, we celebrated Holland's Queens day with Thomas!
The following day, after a great bath in Chivay's hotsprings, we returned to Arequipa enjoying Braveheart in mexican version!!! That night we celebrated Patricia's birthday for the first time! with a great chocolate cake!
