Boco is the old port of Buenos Aires. The houses are painted different colors to preserve a tradition. This used to be a poor area and people would steal any paint they could from the boats for their homes. Because of this the houses ended up being painted in many colors. Now the area in the pictures are mostly for tourist. It is an interesting area with lots of outdoor cafes, shops and exhibition tango dancing on the street.
