Today we had plans of Poland, but woke up at 7 and decided to sleep longer and head to the zoo a day early instead. The zoo was awesome! I felt like the animals were more active than I've ever seen in a zoo before. We picked a good season to come too because there were lots of baby animals to see! Towards the end of the zoo, it started to rain. After the zoo, we found the Gedachtniskirche, which is a famous bombed out church. Unfortunately they're doing some renovations so most of it was covered. We ended our day with a cold, rainy walk back to the hotel. Now, Pat is enjoying a German bier out of his new souvenir mug and watching the Italy vs. England game while I post the multitude of pictures I took today!

Amanda,
This travelogue is incredible! I love looking at all these pix, and the labels make a huge difference. That all takes a lot of time, but everyone is so glad about it.

I hope you are getting enough rest, and letting Pat do some of the work (ya hear that, Pat?). Good job, Teach!
