WAS IT ONLY FOR A MOMENT?

Many of us have had mountain top experiences or close encounters with the Lord. Sometimes we recognize them as they are happening and other times they impact us at a later time. Yet I believe the real issue is what do we do with them? Were they "just for a moment" or were they meant to impact our lives beyond that moment in time? I believe such experiences with the Lord and His people are meant to impact our lives and therefore our witness beyond the moment.
So we are now home after an absolutely incredible 10 days of worship, witness, mercy ministry, preaching, teaching, encouraging, friendship and so much more. We gave and we received...mostly we received gift after gift from our Lord.
So now my personal prayer is for the following:
* To see each day as a gift given to share the only real hope - Jesus
* To be more thankful and faithful with what God has given me, using it all for His glory
* To live by greater faith trusting Him to provide, protect and use me to equip and reach many more with a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ
* and, to do even more with what we have been given to honor the Lord and bless His Kingdom.
Now in closing this blog, my prayer for you is that as you journeyed with us, you were touched by the Holy Spirit and further molded toward living out God's mission in your life. May you see how you have the greatest gift of all, salvation in Christ, and therefore the greatest gift to share. So I pray that your eyes be opened to how you can live anew as the disciple-maker you were made to be.
A servant of Christ,
