Adventure with a primitive tribe / stone axes
Korowai-kombai tribe is one of the most primitive tribes in
the world and their lives totally in the wilderness of the forest. Korowai
tribe is very closed to the outside world. They were still using stone axes and
make a fire of dried tree trunks and dry rattan rope. They make homes in trees
to protect their families because of the threat of wild animals and other
tribes. There are some houses and trees standing at a height of 40 meters
Life of Korowai tribe is settled in one place, and they are always on the move
(nomadic tribes). They survived by hunting wild animals in the wild and eat
whatever they can eat in the wild., They hunt wild animals with a knife made
of bone, bows, arrows and stone axes and also looking for fish in the rivers
and swamps
men's underwear from the Korowai tribe only use the leaves or seeds of fruit
trees to cover the tip of the penis and the women just use the dried leaves of
the sago to cover the bottom of them. They also use some accessories to the
beauty of their body such as: necklace of dog's teeth, tooth necklace from
pigs, and earrings from animal bones, bracelets from rattan and others.
To Reach the Korowai tribe, we have to go through rivers, forests and swamps.
