Hey Guys!
So Broughtyferry proved to be quite the adventure! I saw a lot of stuff; I swear that there are more sheep than people! (I'm not joking...they're going to take over the world!) I got to Noeline's house safe and sound (my grandma's friend), after a rigourous day of travel...and I went for a walk on the water...Broughtyferry's on the Tay river...and it's sooo nice! Then I went back and chilled at her cottage cuz I was toast! The next day (Wednesday the 11th) I was up bright and early and we went sightseeing...she convinced her sister-in-law to take us on a driving tour of the glens...it was gorgeous! We went to Glamis (incidentally pronounced Glams...my bloody Canadian accent screw me over all the time...lol) We had some coffee and did some shopping...and I only bought stuff for other people...God I'm selfless...(oh well now that I'm in Edinburgh it's all about number one...lol)...Then we saw Glamis castle and it was huge! From there we went to Kirriemuir and I saw J. M. Barrie's house and a statue of Peter Pan in the town square...what can I say, I'm ever the tourist! We went all the way to Glen Clova...and some lunch...surrounded by, you guessed it, more sheep! I love it! Then we went back to Noeline's sister in law, Christine's, farm in Tealing and her husband Ian took me on a tour of the grounds! I saw enough sheep and cows to fulfill me for life...the best part is that he put up with all my babbling...God love the man...then even better, they fed me! Love it! The trip was not all spent outdoors mind you, I met this girl named Lisa on the train to Broughtyferry and she was wicked...she walked me to Noeline's house and took me out to the pubs the next night! It's amazing how many people are friendly to you when you are an interesting(ha) foreigner...it was a long night...we ended up staying up to watch the sunrise on the beach...it was gorgeous! Anyways, and know I've arrived in Edinburgh and I leave tomorrow for my tour!
