We have arrived in yet another new country...Croatia...
We arrived in the capital, Zagreb, via train from Ljubliana...
For our voyage through Croatia, we started in the city of Zagreb...
Croatia uses the Kuna, (about 5 to a dollar) and they speak Croatian
Unfortunately for us, the weather was rather foul so the majority of our fiestaing was done from the lovely confines of our hostel...
Which worked out well as we met several cool people...an English teacher from Italy, a Japanese woman who used to be on the national rowing team...The randomness of it all!
As for the city itself...It didn't really appeal to me...it's more of a shopping capital...there's not a lot of things to see, unless one is willing to shell out for the museums...
Our hostel was nice and cozy, and right near the train station...it's run by a Japanese guy and his British partner and it only has about 14 beds or so, but it's a great atmosphere and they're really helpful...
As far as Zagreb goes...there are better cities to visit in Croatia...
