Time to go back into Eastern Europe...
Let's see, Ljubliana, Slovenia was a nice enough city, the night life was pretty cool!
We went to a bar with skeletons for decor and a bookcase as the door to the bathroom (it took me about 5 minutes to find my way in!)...the 2 for 1 cocktails also made it tempting!
As far as sightseeing, to be honest there isn't a whole lot to do...
The castle is very modernized, which ruins the experience a bit in my opinion!
Another reason why we didn't opt to stay too long in the capital is that Slovenia swithced over to the Euro in the beginning of January and that bloody currency makes things expensive!
Bloody Euro!
One nice factor was that since we are so close to the border with Italy, I was able to get by speaking German and Italian a bit...
Luckily, there are better parts of Slovenia that we discovered...
