Ahoy Ahoy,
I'm starting to get to the more unexplored places..
Our first Baltic country is Estonia, a fairly small country
The population is 1.4 million
Their curreny is the Kroon, or crown in English, and $1 CDN equates to about 12 Kroons...
The costs of food and drinks here is pretty reasonable, so long as one doesn't make a habit of eating in the pricey tourist areas, such as the Old Town...otherwise, eating out at small restaurants or fast food is very cheap and grocery shopping will take you far...
We arrived at 7 am, exhausted, tired and wet...we walked for about an hour in the hopes of finding our hostel, but both of our maps were less than adequate and so we retreated back to the bus station and took a cab to the hostel
The hostel itself is in a great location...it's a really laidback relaxing place, albeit rather cold...
We walked around and toured the city with ease, as it's fairly small and accessible...the old town alone is worth a good visit, as it is stunning!
The weather was a bit warmer than Russia so at least we weren't too freezing...even so, it will be nice to head further south!
Cheers
Ali
