We decided to visit the Vatican. The queues to go inside the buildings are enormous especially St. Peter's Basillica. However, by the afternoon the crowds had almost completely gone. The church has enough money - we didn't want to add to the Pope's coffers so we just walked around and viewed the impressive architecture.
