We finally got a chance to fly in a brand new airplane. The Qantas A380 double-decker Trans-Pacific from Sydney to Los Angeles. The flight is super comfortable, the plane is not full, so we got all the luxuries we wanted. We have the entire row of seats to ourselves and can lie down to sleep on this long journey. The A380 is unbelievable smooth and quiet even at the lower deck of our economy class seats. Plenty of food and drinks, large clean washrooms, and personal video screen for movies. After all the discount Jet Star flights, finally we get to enjoy some comfort on our journey home.

The view of both Sydney and Los Angeles from the air was amazing. Due to the jet lag, we arrive the same day as we left. Even though we were both tired upon arrival in Los Angeles, we found the time to catch a Jay Leno show in Burbank, visited Santa Monica one more time, had a nice dinner, bought Juliette a small Valentines gift and saw a movie.

Looking back, it was a excellent trip. If it wasn't for the super expensive Australia in the first leg, it would have been a perfect trip. We love it regardless of cost. We are only young once in our lives.
