I have arrived in England. After 18 1/2 hours total of travel from my parent's home to my host home I am here!! I am already in love with England. I luckily have not had a problem with check lag (I went to bed at 8:30 p.m. the first night and slept all the way until 9:00 a.m.) I started my adventures at Stratford Upon Avon on Saturday with my hosts Ben and Janet and one of my team members Tim. It was amazing to stand in the same room as William Shakespeare was born in and to see where he died. I also purchased my Paddington Bear that was the one thing I truly wanted to bring pack for myself from my trip! I have already been exposed to some new foods and have liked everything I have tried. I have tried lamb shanks and bread & butter pudding. Today we spent hiking in the Malvern Hills with the Malvern Rotary club and then were treated to lunch where they meet. Everyone has been very nice and are continuously purchasing "cider" for me to drink. I will be adding pictures as soon as my computer and camera can work things out. It keeps freezing right now and won't download the pictures.
