Neues Jahr, neues Glueck. Das Neujahrs- Feuerwerk in Sydney war phaenomenal, doch den ganzen Aufwand beinahe nicht wert! 10 Stunden warten bis zum Jahreswechsel, in eingezaeunten Security- Bereiche ohne fliessend Wasser (ausser man bezahlt)...
Nach einem Neujahrs- Haenger habe ich mich in die Blue Mountains zurueckgezogen und nach einer Nacht mit Truck-Laerm bis Bathurst ins Landesinnere Gereist - und prompt dem aufkommenden Regen an der Kueste entwichen. Bathurst ist fuer seine Auto- Rennen bekannt und daher Camping direkt an der (fuer den Verkehr geoeffneten) Rennstrecke auf dem Mount Panorama.

New Year, new luck. The New- Year's fireworks at Sydney Harbour was terrific but almost not the effort worth it. 10 hours waiting to midnight, in a fenced security area with no fluent (except you pay for it)...
After a new year's hang out I went back to the Blue Mountains and after a night with a lot of Truck noise I drove on up to Bathurst into the inland - and avoided the coming rain at the coast. Bathurst is very known for its car races and so I camp at the (for public open) racetrack on the summit of Mount Panorama.
