In Ende muesste gemaess Reisefuehrer nun eine Faehre nach Kupang in West Timor fahren. Ich suche das Tourist Information Centre auf wo man mir ernsthaft weiterhilft:
Ab Aimere - dem 15-Seelen- Hafen - fahren jeweils Samstags zwar tatsaechlich Faehren, doch die auf welche ich warten wollte, wurde annulliert (!!!) aus welchen Gruenden auch immer. Ab Ende fahren zwar Faehren, aber nur Passagierfaehren! Daher bleibt noch die Faehre ab Larantuka die am 23. ablegen soll - sofern die See nicht zu rauh ist oder der Kapitaen nicht zu muede!! Mein Visa laeuft am 25. aus und wenn diese Faehre vom 23. NICHT faehrt werde ich wegen Ueberzug des Visa gebuesst. Nun muss ich auf dem Weg nach Larantuka noch in Maumere halt machen, um eine Bewilligung des nicht noch einmal verlaengerbaren, aber sehr bald auslaufenden Visas wegen den so unkalkulierbaren Faehren einzuholen.

In Ende should go a ferry to Kupang in west Timor, according to the travelguide. I went to the Tourist Information Centre where they help me seriously:
From Aimere - the 15-people-port - there really leave ferries to Kupang on every Saturday but that one I had to wait for was cancelled (!!!) for what reasons ever. From Ende are ferries going to Kupang, but only passengerferries. So the only port which is left is Larantuka from where a ferry should go to Kupang at 23rd - if the sea isn't too rough or the captain too tired!! My visa's running out at 25th and if the ferry at 23rd is not leaving I will be fined at the border for overstaying the Visa. Now I have to go to Maumere to get a permission for the nonextendable but very soon expiring Visa.
